Call for Publication - Experience Reports in National Scientific Journals
With great pleasure and enthusiasm, the Editorial Board of Peletron Journal is pleased to announce its first Call for Papers, themed "The reality and challenges of Brazilian research journals".
Submissions from foreign journals will also be accepted, which will have a special section in the edition.
The special issue, scheduled for release in July 2024, will comprise experience reports written by executive editors and scientists from Brazilian journals. With this issue, the Editorial Board of Peletron Journal aims to provide an overview of editorial structures, the profiles and professional activities that compose them, their business models, editorial challenges overcome and yet to be faced, among other topics addressing the editorial reality of the journal.
In this regard, interested parties will have until June 30, 2024, to submit their reports free of charge, which will undergo structural evaluation by the Editorial Board of Peletron Journal. Approved reports will be published at no cost to the authors and will be assigned a DOI.
To assist in the production of their reports, the following topics are proposed at the authors' discretion:
- Presentation and history of the journal (launch date, focus and scope, institutional authorship, obtained indexations, goals and objectives, etc.)
- Cost structure (source of funds, APC, external services used, etc.)
- Team (professional and academic profile, roles performed, etc.)
- Main challenges (overcome and yet to be overcome)
